Delete Your Whoose Account

Whoose, developed by Kannangara Sudheera

Option 1: Delete from within the app

Open the Whoose app and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
Select Request Account Deletion and confirm.

Your account is deactivated immediately, and your deletion request is queued for review by our team.

Option 2: No longer have the app installed

Email whoose.app@gmail.com from the address associated with your Whoose account and include the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We'll verify your identity and process the request.

What gets deleted

Your profile (name, username, email, date of birth, gender, bio, profile/cover photos)
Posts, stories, reels, and Arc goals you've created
Direct messages you've sent and received
Location data associated with your account
Health and fitness data synced from Apple Health / Health Connect
Push notification device tokens

What we may retain, and for how long

We process deletion requests within 30 days of submission. After processing, we retain minimal records (such as the fact that a deletion request was made and fulfilled) as required for legal, security, and fraud-prevention purposes. Content you shared with other users that they have separately saved or reported prior to deletion may persist in moderation records for abuse-prevention purposes.
